Roasted Peppers. פלפל צלוי

Ingredients:
  • Bell peppers: Red, orange, green, or yellow . multicolor makes for a pretty presentation

  • Oil: use an oil with a higher smoke point, like avocado


Directions:
  1. On a foil-lined sheet pan, arrange bell peppers stem side down and roast them at 400ºF approximately 30 minutes. Alternatively, grill or broil them giving them quarter turns as their skin scorches, approximately 20 minutes.



  1. Transfer to a stainless steel bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let cool completely

  2. Remove the wrap and peel skin, deseed, and slice off top and bottom of each pepper.

  3. Slice in half/third stripes lengthwise as needed. Set aside.
